Starkids
ONGI’s Star Kids Program is a weekly online education initiative connecting student volunteers with underprivileged children in Nepal, Myanmar, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, and Bhutan.
Through self-designed lessons in English, math, coding, and Korean, members overcome distance and limited resources to create meaningful learning experiences. The program demonstrates how education can build connection, empowerment, and opportunity across borders.
Dolbom
The Dolbom Program visits community care centers in the Seongnam area once a month to engage 6–12 students per session through English picture book reading, games, and arts and crafts activities. Each session is organized around themes such as nature, marine life, and holidays, connecting picture books with vocabulary learning and creative projects. All lessons and materials are designed and prepared by student volunteers, and the program has grown beyond simple English instruction to provide children with new experiences, confidence, and opportunities for growth within a supportive community.
One-to-One Learning
One-to-One Learning is a personalized tutoring program for elementary and middle school students. Centered primarily on English, the program offers reading, conversation practice, homework support, board games, and creative activities, while also providing support in math and additional languages when needed. Sessions take place at libraries, community spaces, or online, and are designed around each student’s interests and learning style. Beyond academic support, the program aims to foster trust and meaningful relationships between students and mentors, encouraging sustained growth and connection.
